    Hello everyone! We know a lot of people want certain songs to be ranked, and a lot of others also want their maps to be played. We decided that every month, a monthly thread for you guys to make requests and ask for feedback will be made!
    The threads will be accessible in sidebar and stickied as often as possible throughout the month. Also, go check out r/osumapping for feedback or help on your maps at anytime!

    osu! needs slider pp more than ever.

    A lot of people already said that pp system will not be perfect until sliders are accounted in it, to which other group responded that this might be easily exploitable. Now let's think about it, what's worst that can happen?

    1. Being able to read newpp discord server makes clear that it is possible to make a lot of adjustments before making a system public. Test maps are made to see if some pattern is overrated or not, bots being coded to help, etc. Of course a lot of it is subjective, but obvious issues are being fixed fast. Same thing could be with slider pp. A lot of testing, tweaking, looking at community's opinion. So the system can't be that bad when released.
    2. Most scores that community thinks of as "underrated" are like this because slider bodies don't count in pp. These are tech maps, fast slider maps, old sliderspam maps and more. newpp does buff a lot of underrated plays, but only ones that are underrated because of uncomfortable spacing, angles and rhythm. The slider part is still there.
    3. The development of newpp is currently stagnating, and both players and devs are losing hope that it will ever come out, while large portion of players still points out things that newpp does wrong. The task of creating slider pp could be refreshing for both community and developers of newpp, especially if peppy promised a reward for this.
    4. We are expiriencing the biggest pp farm wave in the game ever, with all the high pp plays being set on same kind of maps, even spaced streams are not common to see anymore. This is undeniably an issue, and it can't be fixed with just newpp.
    5. Most of the time maps that give most pp easily don't require nearly as much effort to produce as maps scores on which are considered underrated. These farm maps are getting way more attention and are played more. Ranked section is becoming more bland, and players have very similar skillsets, even in the top 100. Obviously most mappers want their maps to be played, so they cater to the majority.

    Slider pp definetily seems like confusing task, but it's just weird to disagree that system will ever be decent without it. One day it will become clear, and development will be started, so why not now, at the peak of game's popularity?
