    idk why im posting this but lemme tell you this, i really love this game, not because of the gameplay itself but because it sort of saved me

    basically i have been a depressed lone for all my life because of various reasons like bullying,familiy problems etc. been dealing with suicide since like 11 where i tried to end my self for the first time.

    never really had anyone i could really call a friend so i just sayed inside doing mostly nothing apart from studiyng and playing games.

    over the course of my 7th school year i finally found a real friend and life was going abit better since i wasnt alone anymore.

    then 1 year later i discovered osu. touched the game, didnt like it, dropped it. then a new girl came into class, she just moved here, her seat was assigned next to mine and she struck up a conversation. she just asked for my interrests and when i mentioned anime we instantly became friends.

    i introduced her to my other friend and thus my first group of friends was formed.

    when she mentioned that she had a pc i kept on bugging her to give osu a try until she insisted. my other friend downloaded it aswell.

    we made a discord and started playing. obviously they dropped it like after a month but i liked it so i kept on playing.

    but the creation of this discord basically made our friendship so fucking strong since all we did was go to school, discord all day long trying out other games, watching memecompilations, watching anime together and that thanks to osu.

    she introduced her younger brother to the ground and he became one of my best friends aswell.

    i went from 1 friend to 4 friends in the spam of a few months.

    they introduced me to their friends and my friendgroup kept on groing.

    we start hanging out in real life and while im still depressed life is going so much better then before.

    im 18 now, i discovered osu when i was like 14 and even though i dont play anymore, i still follow the community

    obviously this is only the bright side, alot of shit has been going down in those 4 years but i wont talk about it since its not a pitty party ( i hope ) just wanted to say that this game basically made my life so much better.

    btw sorry for english thanks peppy for making osu

    [tldr] :

    without osu id still have no friends and tbh prob kms since now i have ppl that count on me and actually like me for who i am.
